Gastrointestinal edema disease of pig is an acute, sporadic and fatal disease of weaned piglets caused by the toxin of pathogenic Escherichia coli. The main clinical manifestations are sudden onset, motor ataxia, convulsion, local or general paralysis and eyelid edema.
